Special sports school collaboration

Together with Lev – Life with intellectual disabilities, the University of Southern Denmark and the three foundations; Egmont Foundation, Novo Nordisk Foundation and TrygFonden, we have been given the opportunity to scale the ‘sports internship initiative’ to special schools throughout Denmark. Here, we help special needs students to get involved in leisure activities in close collaboration with the school, parents and the local community.

Should your school also be involved in systematically helping your students get involved in clubs and associations?

Specialsport.dk, Lev and the University of Southern Denmark have joined forces to create a major national initiative that offers all special schools throughout Denmark the opportunity to participate – at your own pace and as it suits your student group.

Hear founder and leader Trine Ravn talk more about the results from Sports Internships 1.0 and how the concept can be scaled across Denmark.
