When children are given a place in the community, they grow socially, physically, and mentally.

With your contribution today, you are helping to bring about that change.

Your support opens the door to community groups where children and young people with disabilities can feel that they belong, are seen, and are allowed to be part of something bigger.

With your contribution, you give us the strength to plan, develop, and reach even more children who need a way into a community.

Thank you very much for your support.

GUIDES & ADVICE

Christina S

Children and their families should be able to easily find opportunities - just like everyone else

When you have a disability, it can be hard to imagine how it’s possible to participate.

You need a special framework to succeed and that’s hard to ask for.

Our online Specialsport Guide and physical catalogs map, inspire and guide you to the opportunities in the community – locally right where you live.

It can be really hard to make ends meet

There are many factors that make it harder to become a part of the community.

There are often practical issues and concerns that need to be addressed, but finances, time and transportation can also be challenging.

We help with all the hard stuff so that children who often have no friends outside of school have access to a local community in their free time.

TEAM SUPPORT

Many associations really WANT it, but also find it difficult.

As a coach or club, you volunteer to make a difference for others.

However, many clubs give up before they get started because they are worried about failing.

Specialsport.dk helps all the way. From board clearance, coaching courses, starter packs, guest training and connecting volunteer team supporters.

This is how we work

See how we help special school students join club communities in their spare time, in close cooperation with the school, parents and the local club life.
